Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer in Sacramento, CA. You will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence, and deter security incidents while delivering excellent customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities include monitoring access points, responding calmly to incidents, completing daily activity reports, and coordinating with site management. A high school diploma and a Guard Card are preferred; background checks and drug screenings

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Guard Card/license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with laws.
• A drug screen may be required.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws and regulations.

• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the office property, including interior common areas, entry points, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, report unusual conditions, and help to deter unauthorized access or prohibited activity.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and communications with site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 05:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Tue 05:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Wed 05:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Thur 05:00 PM - 09:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
