Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard Full Time Patrol Driver Customer Service in Lancaster, TX. You will protect client sites, deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service while using technology to document security activity.

Job Description

As a Security Guard Full Time Patrol Driver Customer Service in Lancaster, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for team members and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. Deliver outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and use technology to document security-related activity while embodying Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, teamwork, innovation, caring, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, vehicle gates, and delivery areas; verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures; and document visitor, contractor, and driver activity.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and/or potential hazards.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services according to established procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required logs related to patrols, incidents, access activity, and other security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
