Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Customer Service in Fremont, CA. You will serve clients, monitor areas, patrol facilities, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering outstanding service.

Position is full-time with a pay rate of $22.52 per hour. You will work a set schedule including weekdays and weekends, and participate in a team-oriented, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and access concerns calmly, following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, parking facilities, entry points, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials as directed, documenting visitor and employee activity.
• Report hazards, unusual activity, and security incidents to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Pay Rate: $22.52 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Mon 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM, Fri 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM, Sat 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM, Sun 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, parking facilities, entry points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, employee, and contractor activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Report hazards, unusual activity, equipment concerns, and security-related incidents to the appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
