Job summary

Harvard Protection Services, LLC is seeking security officers to support our clients with professional customer-focused security and life safety services. Officers will greet guests, monitor access points, patrol facilities, and respond to incidents in a professional manner.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, and a valid security license or ability to obtain one. Competitive hourly pay with benefits is offered for various shifts in New Jersey.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma, GED or the equivalent.
• Must have a security guard license or be able to obtain one within an acceptable period.
• Reliable communication and transportation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional demeanor and assist customers, employees, visitors, and guests.
• Maintain a visible presence in the facility and monitor entrances and exits.
• Respond to alarms and incidents and prepare routine reports as directed.
• Greet individuals professionally and enforce building policies within scope.
• Perform patrols on foot or by vehicle as assigned.
