Qualifications

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Age requirements apply: 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures and access-control protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner, escalating as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of building areas and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and building systems; maintain logs and incident documentation.
• Communicate professionally with property management, tenants, vendors, and emergency responders.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of building common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to identify and report security-related concerns and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and building systems as assigned, maintaining accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Communicate professionally with property management, tenants, vendors, and emergency responders while supporting a welcoming environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
