Job summary

Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer Credential Verification in Taylor, PA to safeguard clients across logistics and distribution. You will verify credentials, monitor access points, and support a secure, welcoming environment for employees and visitors.

This full-time role requires you to be 18+ with a high school diploma and to pass background checks and drug screening where required by law; licensing may be required by state/local regulations.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor and driver entry, and maintain accurate access-control records in accordance with site procedures.
• Screen incoming and outgoing personnel, deliveries, and vehicles as directed, reporting irregularities or access concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
