• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC credential.
• A valid driver’s license is required per policy.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and vendors while enforcing site-specific access-control procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain entry/exit records.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian access to the terminal location in accordance with procedures and security requirements.
• Respond to incidents and access concerns in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access areas, facility grounds, and perimeter to identify unusual conditions and support security operations.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Credential Driver in Seattle, WA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $23.72 / Hour

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access areas, facility grounds, and perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and support security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess a TSA‑issued TWIC.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
