Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services provider, seeks a part-time Security Officer Patrol Alarm Assessment in Cranbury, NJ. Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, background investigation will be conducted.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security procedures and site policies at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols throughout warehouse areas to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and traffic, verify credentials, and maintain access-related records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations with calm problem-solving and escalate as needed.
• Complete detailed activity reports and shift handoffs in a fast-paced environment.

You will maintain a visible presence, respond to alarms and access-control needs, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.68 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 10:00 PM - 06:0 6 AM
• Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout warehouse, loading dock, shipping and receiving, parking, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor, employee, and delivery traffic in accordance with site procedures; verify credentials and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations and escalade concerns according to established protocols.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs while maintaining a professional presence in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
