Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols throughout the facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to identify unusual activity or hazards.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, verifying authorized access, and directing visitors.
• Document incidents and patrols in accordance with reporting requirements.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Hospital Mobile Driver in Nashville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will support a healthcare location through routine patrols, visible presence, access control, and responsive customer service. You may assist with security-related incidents involving individuals requiring restraint and support sensitive hospital areas. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate site personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, surrounding grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and security-related concerns.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, verifying authorized access as directed by site procedures, and providing directions to patients and visitors.
• Document incidents, observations, and completed patrols in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to work in and around a morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
