Job Description

As a Security Officer Hospital Mobile Driver in Nashville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will support a healthcare location through routine patrols, visible presence, access control, and responsive customer service. You may assist with security‑related incidents involving individuals requiring restraint and support sensitive hospital areas. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate site personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, surrounding grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and security‑related concerns.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, verifying authorized access as directed by site procedures, and providing directions to patients and visitors.
• Document incidents, observations, and completed patrols in accordance with Allied Universal and site‑specific reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to work in and around a morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
