You will deliver customer service and maintain a visible security presence to deter incidents while ensuring a welcoming environment for employees and visitors.

This full-time position offers a daytime to evening schedule in New York and requires strong communication and reporting skills to handle security observations and incidents following post orders

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as per federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• Drug screen where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, production personnel, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a technology and media location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including offices, production spaces, common areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter, to identify and report security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following post orders and escalation procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate security-related logs and incident reports.
• Communicate professionally with client representatives, employees, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related observations, incidents, and required follow-up.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will apply strong communication and customer service skills while reporting security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
