GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Surveillance Security Officer to monitor CCTV and systems, identify threats, and document incidents with precise reports. You’ll support security operations in busy environments and work on access control, patrols, and quick incident response to protect people and property.

As a Security Officer – Surveillance, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalated in environments such as a security operations centers, call centers, parking gatehouses, etc.

• Site Location: Austin, Texas
• Set schedules:
• Schedule 1: Monday 10 PM - 6 AM / Wednesday - Saturday 10 PM - 6 AM ( 40 Hours/ Full Time)
• Schedule 2: Wednesday - Saturday 2 PM - 10 PM / Sunday 10 PM - 6 AM ( 40 Hours/ Full Time)
• Schedule 3: Friday - Saturday 6 AM -2 PM / Sunday - Tuesday 2 PM -10 PM ( 40 Hours/ Full Time)
• Schedule 4: Sunday -Thursday 6 AM - 2 PM ( 40 Hours/ Full Time)

Responsibilities of Surveillance Security Guard

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications of a Surveillance Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Be able to pass both background and intensive drug screen procedure
• Strong report writing skills
• Sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills
• Strong proficiency with technology
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
• If you are 21 years of age or older per site requirements
• You must have a valid drivers license with a clean driving record
