• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner, documenting actions.
• Conduct regular foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, and perimeter to identify hazards.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery authorization.
• Complete detailed activity reports and shift logs and communicate information to leadership.

As a Security Officer - Concierge Mornings in Tucson, AZ, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual activity and potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery authorization in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident reports, and shift logs while communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
