GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Concierge Security Officer in Virginia Beach, VA. The role emphasizes exceptional customer service as you engage with visitors and support access control in office towers, hotels, and retail environments.

The position offers full-time hours, a 2:00pm-8:00pm shift, and a competitive hourly wage of $19 with benefits such as medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) with employer matching, PTO, holidays, disability coverage, and life insurance.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and hold an active DCJS License.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED.
• Must pass an extensive screening process (background check and drug screening).

Responsibilities

• Welcoming visitors, verifying identity and guiding visitors.
• Manage access control and monitor entry points.
• Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks.
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams.
• Answer questions in person or by phone.
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns.
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.

Qualifications For Concierge Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must have an active DCJS License
• Must be 21 years of age or older

• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
• You have a state license if required
