Job summary

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Lobby Security Officer / Concierge in Sunnyvale, CA. The role emphasizes customer service as you greet visitors, verify identity, and guide guests across shifts in office towers, hotels, and shopping centers.

The position is full-time (40 hours/week) with a set schedule: Saturday and Wednesday, 11:00am–7:00am. GardaWorld offers medical/dental/vision, a 401(k) with company matching, disability and life insurance, uniform provided, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have a state security license and additional 32hr. BSIS security trainings (additional trainings can be obtained during hiring).
• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Must have a minimum of one year security experience
• High level of customer service experience preferred
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must have active driver’s license

• Exceptional customer service skills
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
• Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Customer service duties like welcoming, verifying identity, and guiding visitors
• Manage access control
• Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
• Answer questions in person or by phone
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
