Allied Universal in Louisville, KY is seeking a Security Officer for Computer Assisted Patrol to protect client sites at a busy logistics location. You will patrol, deter incidents, observe and report, and provide courteous service to employees and visitors.

This full-time role offers a pay rate of $18.75 per hour, a consistent weekday schedule, and opportunities for training and career growth within a supportive team committed to safety and integrity.

Qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screening required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

• Mon: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Tue: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Wed: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Thur: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Fri: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe the movement of personnel, visitors, and vehicles in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Document incidents, observations, and irregularities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
