Job summary

Admiral Security Services is seeking a full-time security officer in Hyattsville, MD (20785). The role runs Monday–Friday, 10:00 am–6:00 pm, with pay at $19.00 per hour.

Duties include access control, enforcing policies, patrolling premises, and reporting hazards to the client and ADM managers. Candidates must be at least 21, pass a background check and drug screen, have at least one year of verifiable work experience, and hold Maryland Security Guard card or be eligible to obtain one.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.
• Minimum of one year of verifiable work experience; military, concierge, or related degree/credentials may be considered.
• Must possess Maryland Security Guard card or be able to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Access control for guests, tenants and vendors.
• Enforce client and company policies and procedures.
• Observe and report security and safety hazards.
• Conduct routine foot patrols around the building.
• Report issues to the operations manager, client, and ADM department managers as appropriate.
• Interact with clients, visitors, public safety officials, employees and the general public.
