Job summary

Admiral Security Services is seeking security officers in the Curtis Bay area. Positions available full-time and part-time with day, evening, and overnight shifts. Pay rate is $18.00 per hour with great benefits including health, life insurance, 401(k), and paid vacation.

Responsibilities include access control, enforcing policies, monitoring for hazards, and documenting incidents. Must be 21+, pass background/drug screening, and have at least one year of experience or relevant education.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Must pass background check and drug screen (amphetamines, cocaine, marijuana/THC, PCP and opiates).
• Exceptional customer service skills required.
• Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to operate and maintain site-specific security programs.
• At least one year of verifiable work experience; military/concierge or related degrees considered.

Responsibilities

• Control access for guests, tenants and vendors.
• Enforce client and company policies and procedures.
• Observe and report security and safety hazards.
• Conduct routine foot patrols around buildings.
• Report issues to operations manager, client and ADM managers.
• Interact with clients, visitors, public safety officials, employees and the public.

Responsibilities

Available Shifts:Full Time & Part Time PositionsDays EveningOvernight

Location: Curtis Bay area (not on a bus route) Pay rate: $18.00 Hourly

The selected candidate will perform various security duties as outlined by contract requirements and site-specific post orders. These duties may include:

• Access control for guests, tenants and vendors.
• Enforcement ofClient and Company policies and procedures.
• Observation and reporting of security and safety hazards.
• Conduct of routine foot patrols in and around building.
• Reporting of all pertinent issues and incidents to the operations manager, the client and other Admiral/ADM Department Managers as appropriate.
• Interaction with a variety of persons including clients, visitors, public safety officials, employees and the general public.
• Other duties as assigned.

This position may require work inside and outside in varying temperatures. This position requires standing for prolonged periods of time, walking, bending and some lifting. A portion of this position may require sitting in front of a computer for prolonged periods of time.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen(we test for the followingAmphetamines, including methamphetamines, Cocaine, Marijuana/THC, Phencyclidine and Opiates)
• Must possess exceptional customer service skills.

• Must haveat least one year of verifiable work experience. One year of military, concierge or an AA or BA in a related field will be considered as well.
• Must have or be able to obtain Maryland Security Gaurd card.
• Must have or be able to obtain a TWIC card.
