Allied Universal in Grovetown, GA is seeking a Security Officer - Commercial Site. You will patrol a manufacturing/industrial site, deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service while maintaining a secure environment.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, a minimum age of 18 for unarmed positions, and completion of required background checks and drug screenings. This is a daytime, full-time position with opportunities for growth within Allied Universal.

• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and direct personnel as needed.
• Document patrol findings and incidents and communicate with site leadership and supervision.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, offices, parking areas, access points, and the property perimeter to help identify unusual activity and security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site requirements, assisting with credential verification and directing employees, contractors, and visitors as needed.
• Document patrol findings, incidents, and security-related observations accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
