Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer for a commercial premise in Riviera Beach, FL. You will monitor, patrol and deter incidents while delivering outstanding customer service in a food and beverage distribution setting.

You will follow site procedures, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and maintain a visible presence to ensure safety and a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Guardcard is required.
• Background investigation will be conducted per applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document incidents, observations, and irregularities accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 03:30 AM - 01:30 PM
• Fri: 01:30 PM - 09:30 PM
• Sat: 01:30 PM - 09:30 PM
• Sun: 01:30 PM - 09:30 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
