Job Description

Allied Universal is currently looking to hire Security Guards for a Commercial Building located in Midtown, Manhattan.

• Positions: Part Time
• Work Days: Candidates should be flexible Saturday - Sunday
• Work Shifts: Morning, Overnight
• Daily Pay: Get paid before payday
• Hourly Pay Rate: $17.30 - $18.30 / Hour

As a Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in various industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with problem-solving skills
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• Subject to background investigation per federal, state, and local laws; qualified applicants with criminal histories will be considered in accordance with applicable laws
• Subject to drug screening as permitted by law
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and may be required prior to employment
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions
