Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Cleared Security Officer to support a tech company in San Jose, CA. Pay rate is $25.99 per hour. The role requires a valid DoD clearance, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a DoD‑cleared site background. Responsibilities include patrols, guest escort, and incident response.

The position is part-time, overnight (Thu-Fri, 2200–0600) with benefits and opportunities for training. Prior security experience and a valid guard card are preferred requirements.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Must possess a Department of Defense (DoD) position appropriate level security clearance (national security eligibility determinations take into account a person's stability, trustworthiness, reliability, discretion, character, honesty, and judgment)
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
• Must possess one or more of the following:
• Minimum of three (3) years of security experience on a Department of Defense-cleared site
• Prior military experience
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites

As a Cleared Security Officer, you'll receive specialized training in site-specific security protocols associated with your clearance level, allowing for skill development and professional growth in the security field.
