As a **Security Officer - Cleared Armed DOD** in **San Antonio, TX** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As an armed patrol officer in an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. This post requires carrying a firearm. You will interact with personnel and visitors, offering exceptional customer service and clear communication. **Pay Rate: $24.60 / Hour - Secret**

**$29.00 / Hour - Top Secret**

**$38.38 / Hour - Yankee White**

**Job Schedule:**

Sat10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

**Responsibilities:**

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and observing for any unusual conditions.

+ Maintain a visible presence throughout the location, particularly in areas related to aerospace and defense operations.

+ Document and report any security-related incidents or observations according to site protocols.

+ Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as needed during incidents or emergencies.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ **Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.**

+ **A valid driver's license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.**

+ **Level III Armed Certification is required for Texas roles.**

+ **An active Department of Defense Clearance is required.**

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
