Job Description

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer - Cleared (Clearance Required - Unarmed) in Waynesboro, Virginia. As a Cleared Security Officer, you will handle sensitive information and protect classified personnel and property. You will receive specialized training in site-specific security protocols associated with your clearance, fostering skill development and professional growth in security.

Hourly Pay Rate: $21.00 / per hour. Part-Time. Active DoD Secret Clearance Required with at least 1+ years of security experience. Active Virginia DCJS Unarmed Security License preferred. Work for a company that promotes from within! Daily and weekly pay options available.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information professionally.
• Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure safety and security.
• Greet guests and employees; escort visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit points.
• Follow site-specific performance manuals and post orders; report safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and oral communication.
• Respond to and assess security or emergency alarms.
• Act as a first responder in emergency situations.

Qualifications (Must Have)

• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance appropriate for the position.
• Licensing as required by state/local laws.
• Minimum of three (3) years security experience on a DoD-cleared site or prior military experience.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Intermediate computer skills for operating wireless technology at client sites.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior law enforcement or armed security experience.
• Associate's degree or higher in Criminal Justice, Business, or related fields.
