Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer with clearance to coordinate alarm monitoring at a Saint Charles, MO location. You will patrol, deter incidents, and maintain professional communication with employees and visitors in a dynamic aerospace/defense setting.

This full-time role offers $26.50 per hour with a minimum of 30 hours per week. Scheduling is TBD and will be finalized during onboarding and training.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Pepper spray certification preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Must be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required by law.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies, and engage in emergency response as needed at aerospace/defense locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, access points, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeters.
• Monitor access control points and verify authorized entry and visitor procedures.
• Document observations and incidents accurately and communicate details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Security Clearance Alarm Coordination in Saint Charles, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine inspections, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and communicate professionally with employees and visitors. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $26.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

This is a full-time position. You can expect to work a minimum of 30 hours per week. The schedule for this position has not been assigned yet. If you are selected to move forward, your schedule will be determined as you progress through the hiring, onboarding, and training process. Your manager will work with you to assign a schedule based on business needs before your start date.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, access points, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, as assigned.
• Monitor access control points and assist with verifying authorized entry and visitor procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, and unusual conditions accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
