Allied Universal in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Security Officer for Care Environment Patrol. This part-time role focuses on unarmed patrols within healthcare settings, providing patient and staff safety, access control, and a welcoming environment.

The position offers the ability to create a flexible schedule with day shifts and the chance to join a trusted security team. The ideal candidate will meet vaccination requirements, be at least 18 (21 for armed roles), and have a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following facility protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Assist with access control, visitor management, and direction-giving while maintaining a professional presence in patient-care areas.
• Document incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and emergency responders.

What You'll Do:
