Job summary

Allied Universal in Cleveland, OH is seeking a part-time Security Officer Care Environment Patrol to protect patients, visitors, and staff across healthcare facilities. You will perform patrols, control access, respond to emergencies, and document incidents while following site protocols.

This role offers flexible scheduling, a $16 per hour pay rate, and opportunities to grow within a nationwide security team.

Qualifications

• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following facility protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Assist with access control, visitor management, and direction-giving while maintaining a professional presence in patient-care areas.
• Document incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and emergency responders.

What You'll Do
