Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is hiring a Security Officer to help maintain a safe environment at client sites in Northfield, MN. You will monitor premises, manage access control, and patrol diverse locations to ensure smooth operations and safety for employees and visitors.

The role emphasizes de-escalation, reporting hazards, and following post orders, with strong customer service and the ability to work independently in a dynamic setting.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in pre-employment screening including drug screen and background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.
