Job Description

As a Security Officer - Business Patrol in Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more.

As a Front Desk professional in a commercial real estate location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and tenants, providing exceptional customer service and communication. Your responsibilities include monitoring access, assisting with visitor management, and remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will utilize technology such as computers or tablets to support your duties, all while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach. This is a stationary, non-driving, and unarmed position focused on creating a welcoming and secure environment for all occupants.

Position Details

• Type: Part Time
• Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour
• Schedule: Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist visitors, tenants, and staff at the front desk of the commercial real estate location, providing a welcoming and professional presence.
• Carry out security procedures and site-specific policies, including monitoring access and verifying identification as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Monitor surveillance systems and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, including communicating with emergency services and guiding occupants as needed.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of visitors, incidents, and other relevant activities at the front desk.

Minimum Requirements

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possession of a County Unarmed Security Professional License in Denver, Colorado is preferred.
• Possession of a state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
