Qualifications

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted as per laws.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor/contractor credentials, and maintain access records.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, solution-oriented manner.
• Conduct regular patrols of facilities, perimeter areas, parking locations, and access points to deter unauthorized activity.
• Support orderly movement of personnel, vehicles, materials, and deliveries following client and Allied Universal procedures.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, security-related policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor or contractor credentials, and maintain accurate access records in accordance with location procedures.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing and industrial facilities, perimeter areas, parking locations, and access points to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Support the orderly movement of personnel, vehicles, materials, and deliveries while following established client and Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
