Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Pay Rate: $23.04 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including warehouses, loading areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, observing visitor and delivery activity, and reporting unauthorized access concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Help to deter theft, trespassing, and other policy violations through a visible presence, routine inspections, and timely reporting of security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
