Job summary

AX9 Security, Inc. is seeking professional and dependable bilingual Security Officers to join our team at a Bronx school.

This part-time role focuses on keeping students, staff, and visitors safe while creating a welcoming environment for everyone on campus. You will monitor entrances, verify IDs, patrol grounds, and respond to incidents, coordinating with school administration and law enforcement as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Active New York Security Guard license required.
• Bilingual ability required.
• 3–4 years of security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor school entrances and exits during school hours.
• Verify visitor identification and enforce access control procedures.
• Conduct routine patrols of the school campus and grounds.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, disturbances, and safety concerns.
• Build positive relationships with students, faculty, and parents.
• Report suspicious activity and complete detailed incident reports.
• Work closely with school administration and law enforcement when necessary.
• Assist with student arrival, dismissal, and special school events.
