Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer, Bilingual Guest Services, for a busy Miami location. You will greet visitors, verify access, and maintain a secure front desk environment while delivering exceptional customer service in English and Spanish.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security experience.
• Fluent in speaking, reading, and writing Spanish.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience are preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and clients at the front desk of a commercial real estate location while carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Greet visitors, verify access authorization, issue visitor credentials as directed, and maintain accurate visitor and contractor records.
• Monitor access points, surveillance systems, alarms, and communications equipment, reporting unusual activity or security‑related concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency services as directed.
• Maintain a professional front‑desk presence, provide directions and general assistance, and communicate relevant information to building management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security‑related experience.
• Be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing Spanish.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
