Allied Universal in West Hollywood, CA, seeks a Security Officer Bicycle Patrol Area Assessment to provide visible security on a bicycle, support a welcoming environment, and deter incidents. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees and the public while enforcing site procedures.

• Conduct routine and random patrols of assigned areas to identify hazards or policy concerns.
• Monitor entrances/exits and assist with visitor direction during events and daily operations.
• Prepare clear incident reports and relay observations to supervisors.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas by bicycle, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact professionally with the public, communicate observations, respond to security-related concerns, and support a welcoming environment. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri: 01:30 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 01:30 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 11:00 AM - 07:30 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, public disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of municipal buildings, public areas, parking locations, and surrounding perimeters to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and designated areas; assist with visitor direction and crowd-flow needs during public meetings, events, and daily operations.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and communicate observations to supervisors and designated site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be able to ride a bike.
• Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Possession of a Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
