Summary Description

Security Officers are responsible for promoting safety and security throughout the property while verbally interacting with Team Members, Guests, visitors, and vendors.

Essential Job Functions/Duties

• Provide exceptional guest service with a positive attitude.
• Promote the Players Club loyalty program to guests.
• Monitor and authorize entry and departure of individuals to protect against theft and secure company assets.
• Patrol premises to prevent intrusion or rule infractions, answer alarms, and secure vehicles, doors, windows, and gates.
• Use verbal de-escalation skills to dispel tense situations.
• Monitor assigned areas for unusual activities, discourage loiterers and panhandlers.
• Assist in removing disruptive individuals and document actions taken.
• Conduct investigations involving guests, collaborate with Surveillance, and complete investigative documentation.
• Handle confiscated items, document evidence, and maintain incident logs and reports.
• Escort team members transporting monies within the property.
• Exercise sound judgment, objectivity, and emotional control.
• Uphold integrity and adhere to standards required by a regulated business.
• Respond to medical emergencies according to policies and procedures.
• Safely operate assigned motor vehicles for transportation.
• Maintain control of keys and utilize communication systems effectively.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
