Candidates must hold a handgun/firearm carry certification, demonstrate strong communication skills, and comply with security procedures. The position offers day shifts with minor travel and opportunities for professional growth within SAFCU.

Qualifications

• Must have security operations experience.
• Must be certified to carry and operate a handgun or other approved firearm.
• Experience with monitoring surveillance systems and access control is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patrol Credit Union facilities and parking areas to maintain a visible security presence.
• Monitor and respond to security threats, incidents, and safety concerns involving employees, members, and visitors.
• Control facility access and assist with entry and departure of employees, visitors, and vehicles.
• Support investigations, retrieve surveillance footage, and complete incident reports.
• Assist with emergency response, trespasser removal, and incident management per legal protocols.
• Maintain the security and confidentiality of member information and interactions.
• Attend meetings and training; meet deadlines and stay current on policies.
• Provide coverage at other Credit Union locations as needed and adjust schedules accordingly.
