The role offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, boosting earnings and gaining experience across sites.

Responsibilities include front-desk customer service, monitoring entry, verifying IDs, issuing badges, answering calls, and promptly handling incidents while ensuring documentation

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background investigation will be conducted as per laws.
• Drug screen is required.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Visitor Services in Peoria, IL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Sat 09:00 AM - 01:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at the front desk of a financial institution by following site-specific procedures and access-control protocols.
• Monitor visitor entry, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials as applicable, and maintain accurate visitor and access records.
• Answer incoming calls, provide directions and general information, and route inquiries to appropriate personnel while maintaining a professional front-desk presence.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, promptly communicating concerns to appropriate personnel and emergency responders when needed.
• Support security-related operations by monitoring entry points, reporting unusual activity or facility concerns, and completing required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
