Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Pittsburgh, PA. You will safeguard clients at a financial institution through routine patrols, visible presence, and customer service, helping deter incidents and maintain a welcoming environment.

Position Type: Full Time (Strip District). Pay rate is $17.54 per hour. Shifts include daytime Monday through Friday with varying start times. Allied Universal offers a culture of teamwork and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation conducted per laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and document visitor activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and clearly.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, including business areas and perimeter.
• Complete accurate activity reports and shift logs maintaining professional presence.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific procedures and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and document visitor and contractor activity in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as required.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the financial institution, including the business areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs while maintaining a professional presence that helps to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
