Job summary

Allied Universal® is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol Activity Reporting in Philadelphia, PA. You will provide customer service, monitor access, and perform unarmed patrols to deter incidents while maintaining site operations.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations.

• Monitor access to the location by verifying visitor, contractor, and vehicle authorization and directing individuals to appropriate areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical events, and other critical situations following reporting procedures.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns and communicate them to leadership.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, offices, parking areas, access points, and the exterior perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying visitor, contractor, and vehicle authorization in accordance with site procedures and directing individuals to appropriate areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical events, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
