Responsibilities

• Monitor access points and badge verification; assist with directions and inquiries.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly and document observations for site contacts.
• Complete detailed logs and shift communications maintaining a professional presence.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, and provide exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $18.75 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior spaces, exterior areas, parking facilities, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with badge verification, directions, and access-related inquiries as assigned.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Complete detailed activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence in a dynamic business environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
