Job summary

The Marcus Corporation is seeking a Security Officer at Grand Geneva Resort & Spa in Lake Geneva, WI to help maintain a safe, welcoming environment for guests and associates. You will patrol 1,300 acres, handle dispatch, and respond to incidents with professional reporting and first aid as needed.

Ideal candidates bring security-related experience or military/EMS background, strong writing skills, and a willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) background check.
• Prior experience in security, military, or EMS preferred.
• College education preferred.
• Exceptional people skills, strong writing and logical thinking abilities.
• Maintain impeccable grooming and attire standards while wearing a security uniform.
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and the public.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, and use hands for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety for guests and associates while protecting property through continuous foot and vehicle patrols of the 1,300-acre campus.
• Write professional case reports on incidents.
• Provide CPR and first aid as a trained first responder.
• Operate a dispatch center, handling key control, fire alarm and CCTV monitoring, and dispatching routine and emergency calls.
• Perform proactive security, safety, and loss prevention practices.
• Investigate situations and conditions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
