Base pay range

$18.00/hr - $18.00/hr

Location: Falcon & Peyton, CO

Rate: $18.62/HR

Available Schedule: Sat & Sun: 7AM - 3PM

At Securitas, on-site Security Officers are the foundation of our organization. Our Officers are trained to provide a high level of professionalism and specialization for their assignments, help safeguard people, property, and information.

The ideal candidates we are seeking will be reliable, accountable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic while adhering to our core values: Integrity, Vigilance, & Helpfulness.

What Your Day May Look Like:

• Greet client employee’s, customer’s, vendor’s and guests.
• Request receipt’s from customers as they exit site.
• Conduct internal foot patrol when needed to check for unsafe conditions, hazards, security violations, blocked ingress and egress, mechanical problems, unauthorized persons, inspects grounds using appropriate equipment and protective gear.
• Monitor entrance/exits, provides guidance as needed to client employees and customers.
• Complete daily activity, incident reports and logs via client system system.
• Maintain access control.
• Provide an atmosphere in which all client employees, customers, and Management know their needs are being met.
• Present a good image to the client, client employees and customers.
• Operates in a calm manner and directs persons who cause disruption to leave property.
• Protects evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations; sets up barriers and signage, and provides direction or information to others.
• Observes and reports incidents or suspicious activity to client representatives, Company Management, or public safety authorities as appropriate for the circumstances and/or as required by the site.
• Acts to ensure that all property removal is conducted within appropriate policy requirements and in accord with client standards.
• Carries out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Position Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED Required.
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
• Must be able to conduct patrols throughout shift.
• Must have great attention to detail and have the ability to remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Understands the nature of customer service and interactions with the public.
• Must have Day / Swing shift availability.
• Must be reliable, accountable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus.
• Must be able to interact with and greet customers, or client employees in a positive manner, while maintaining excellent customer service.
• Intermediate computer/technology skills needed to ensure completion of daily activity reports, and logs via handheld devices, and reporting alarms.
• Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills to assist customers, vendors, public, Asset Protection, and Office Management.
• Must be open to communication and feedback from client, and Office Management.
• Must be able to adhere to 15 minute, and lunch breaks.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies, with rapid and effective judgment, and use appropriate escalation and force if required.
• Must be able to work in a team environment to ensure site/organizational goals are achieved daily.
• Must be able to remain organized and professional.
• Must be able to learn and adhere to security operations.
• Must provide high quality customer service in-person, and via radio.
• Must have a personal vehicle, Colorado Driver’s License and clean driving record.
• Must be able to obtain Colorado Springs Guard Card license and maintain it every year.
• Must be able to attend in-person interview, and in-person orientation if hired in Colorado Springs.
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience a plus!
