Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Asset Protection in Norwood, MA. You will monitor and patrol designated areas, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service while maintaining a visible security presence.

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution facilities, loading areas, parking areas, trailer yards, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying authorized entry for personnel, visitors, and delivery-related traffic in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications while supporting orderly operations at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Asset Protection in Norwood, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
