Job summary

Akima Intra-Data seeks a security professional to perform entry control at Arnold Air Force Base and to man fixed posts, patrol facilities, and deter crime as part of a vigilant security team.

The role requires a 21+ age, firearms-license eligibility, and successful completion of a security or law enforcement academy. Dress and appearance standards are mandated.

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment fitness test: 300m, 1 mile, push-ups, sit-ups.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must obtain TN Armed Security Guard/Officer License and Secret security clearance.
• Must possess valid state driver''s license.
• Must have completed a US Military Law Enforcement Academy or Accredited Civilian Law Enforcement Academy.
• Must present a professional image per Air Force Dress and Appearance Standards.

Responsibilities

Job description

Under supervision of a shift lieutenant, performs physical security and resource protection related tasks and activities. Responsibilities * Manning of installation fixed posts.

• Performing entry control at base access gates, ensuring only credentialed personnel are allowed access to Arnold Air Force Base.
• Manning of mobile and foot patrols to ensure base facilities are areas are secure.
• Maintaining presence for crime prevention/deterrence.
• initial responses to major accidents or incidents, initial investigation of incidents and completion of required forms and reports. Qualifications * Must successfully complete pre-employment fitness test be consisting of: cardiovascular endurance (300 meter and a 1-mile run) and muscular strength/endurance (push-ups and sit-ups).
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must be able to obtain a TN Armed Security Guard/Officer License. * Must be able to maintain qualification and authority to carry firearms. * Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. * Must possess a valid state driver's license. * Must possess High School Dip.loma or equivalent. * Must have completed a US Military Law Enforcement Academy or Accredited Civilian Law Enforcement Academy.
