As an Armed Security Officer supporting a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that acts with integrity.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $30.05 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Saturday: 02:45 PM - 11:15 PM
• Sunday: 02:45 PM - 11:15 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out armed security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following applicable armed post orders and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, business areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access control points, verify authorized entry, and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity documentation in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security‑related experience or a college degree.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Maintain an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
