Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Armed Enhanced (Part Time) in Manassas, VA. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts to boost earnings, up to a 40-hour week, and a competitive hourly pay rate.

You will perform security duties, patrols, and access control while maintaining compliance and documentation. A DoD Secret Clearance and armed guard credentials are required.

Qualifications

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age (armed roles require 21+).
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation per laws.
• Qualified applications with criminal histories will be considered as per laws.
• Subject to a drug screen where permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service at a tech/telecom site, executing security procedures and emergency responses.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and access-control issues with calm, following procedures.
• Conduct armed patrols of the facility, perimeter and parking areas to deter incidents.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for staff, contractors and visitors.
• Maintain patrol activity, incidents, observations and shift reports per policies.

As a Security Officer Armed Enhanced Part Time Clearance Required in Manassas, VA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $27.31 / Hour

DayTimeSun05:30 AM - 05:30 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements.
• Maintain required documentation, including patrol activity, incidents, observations, and shift reports, while following applicable armed officer policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
