Job Description

As a Security Officer - Armed Utility Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities and more .

As an Armed Patrol Officer at this utilities location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, responding to situations as they arise, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. This is an armed post, requiring you to carry out your duties with professionalism and integrity. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and working collaboratively to maintain a secure environment.

*Must have an Active Texas Armed Security License*

Pay Rate: $19.34 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day	Time
Tue	02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Wed	10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
Sat	06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the utility facility and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.
• Monitor for suspicious activity and help to deter unauthorized access or behavior within the location.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site protocols.
• Collaborate with site personnel and local authorities when appropriate to address incidents or emergencies.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to any security-related incidents that may arise during the shift.

Minimum Requirements:

• Texas Armed Security Professional License required.
• A valid driver's license is required and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
