Responsibilities

• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior and exterior areas, parking facilities, entry points, and surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and report suspicious activity or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally per post orders and laws.
• Prepare clear incident reports and maintain daily activity documentation.

You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to members of the public, employees, and visitors at a government office location by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access‑control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior and exterior areas, parking facilities, entry points, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner while following applicable post orders and legal requirements.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and maintain required daily activity documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site‑specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security‑related experience, or a college degree.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
