Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Bushnell, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a government law enforcement location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government law enforcement location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken.
• Maintain required armed-post qualifications, carry authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws and site procedures, and follow use-of-force reporting requirements.
• Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, law enforcement personnel, and the public while controlling access and supporting daily operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• A valid driver`s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver`s license will be required for driving positions only.
