Allied Universal in Butlerville, IN is seeking a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver to maintain a visible security presence at government facilities and other sites.

As an armed patrol driver, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, file clear reports, and uphold safety protocols while delivering professional customer service. A valid driver's license and firearms qualifications are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license in the state of Indiana.
• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Minimum 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and government stakeholders while enforcing site policies and emergency procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and access-control concerns following established protocols.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of government buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for personnel, visitors, vendors, and vehicles.
• Prepare clear, accurate patrol and incident reports and maintain firearms qualifications and equipment.

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Butlerville, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to situations as needed, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and government facility stakeholders while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of government buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for personnel, visitors, vendors, and vehicles in accordance with site requirements.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports documenting patrols, incidents, observations, and actions taken, and maintain required firearms qualifications and equipment in accordance with applicable policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Have at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
